# MCP overview

> Connect an agent through Streamable HTTP.

Transfer exposes an authenticated Streamable HTTP MCP server at `/api/mcp` on your app deployment's origin. Use the URL from your dashboard connection code.

All tools are scoped to the credential's agent. Amounts use integer EUR cents. Responses include text content and structured content on successful execution. Tool execution failures use `isError: true`.

The endpoint accepts POST, requires bearer authentication, and limits request bodies to 16 KB. GET and DELETE return 405. No persistent MCP session ID is required. Cross-origin browser requests are rejected.
