# Troubleshooting

> Resolve connection failures and declined simulations.

## Invalid, expired, or revoked key

Generate a replacement connection in the dashboard, update your client's private settings, and reconnect. Include the `Bearer` prefix when calling the REST API. Keys expire after 90 days.

## Method not allowed at the MCP URL

Opening `/api/mcp` in a browser sends GET, which returns 405. Configure a Streamable HTTP MCP client; the endpoint accepts POST. It does not provide an SSE GET stream.

## Purchase declined

Check the card is active, the purchase fits both limits, and the shared wallet has enough test money. Another agent may have spent from the wallet since you last checked.

## Rate limited

Wait at least 60 seconds before retrying. Transfer allows 120 authorization/tool checks per key per minute. An MCP tool request normally consumes two checks.

## Wallet not found

Use an ID returned by `GET /api/v1/wallets`. A wallet outside the key's scope returns 404.

## Service unavailable

Retry with backoff. Preserve the purchase UUID and arguments when retrying a simulation so it cannot create a duplicate debit.

## No real payment details

Transfer is currently simulation-only. Test cards do not have usable checkout credentials, and test balances cannot become real funds.
