# Retrieve your card

> Read the virtual card scoped to your agent key.

`label` is the assigned agent’s nickname, rather than a separate card name.

External limits and remaining funds are unknown. Set actual limits in the banking app. `status` describes whether Transfer may issue new checkout access; it does not report a bank freeze. No bank balance, wallet identity, or wallet balance is returned.

`usableForCheckout` is `false` if checkout configuration or Browser Tokens preview approval is missing, even when the card is linked. A `true` value reports configured checkout readiness; it does not prove that the checkout browser or a particular merchant has been verified. Use [Payment details](/api-reference/get-payment-details) for the protected session and its requirements. Reading metadata does not charge the card.

A simulation source uses `mode`, `source`, and `provider` of `simulation`, has `usableForCheckout: false`, and exposes demo EUR limits only. Transfer-issued live cards are **coming soon**.
